Systems that
hold together.
Independent technology consulting — identity, endpoints, networks, and the automation that ties them together. Fifteen years building IT functions from zero and running them at scale.
Services
What I get called in for.
Identity & Access
Okta and Duo — SSO, SCIM, MFA. Joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle automation, least privilege, and RBAC that survives an audit. Phishing-resistant FIDO keys and zero-trust network access in place of legacy VPN.
Endpoints & MDM
JAMF, Kandji, and Intune across macOS and Windows fleets. Zero-touch DEP provisioning, device trust, and patching that doesn't need a technician in the room.
Network & AV
UniFi, Ruckus, Meraki, Peplink, SD-WAN. Conference rooms, Zoom Rooms, and multi-site office build-outs — configs written once and repeated per site. AV production for earnings calls and executive offsites, plus field connectivity where there isn't any: Starlink, 5G failover, multi-WAN.
Automation & AI
Python, APIs, Terraform/IaC, and Ansible. MCP servers, agent workflows, and LLM/RAG orchestration — with governance for model misuse and data leakage built in, not bolted on.
Security & Compliance
SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX ITGC — and CMMC Level 2 / ITAR readiness for companies moving into defense work: CUI boundary mapping, gap assessment, SSP documentation, and the audit trail to back it.
Fractional IT Leadership
Standing up an IT function from zero, or steadying one that outgrew itself. SaaS portfolio and vendor consolidation, shadow-IT discovery, and building the team that replaces me.
Selected Work
Where it's been put to use.
Clover Health
Recruited directly by the CEO as Senior Technology Consultant in the Office of the CEO — a role created to own high-impact problems that fall outside normal IT queues. A year-long contract engagement that converted to a full-time Director, IT Transformation.
AI voice-agent proof of concept for member services. A CRM build replacing manual spreadsheet workflow across a 700-deal pipeline. An SMS engagement program through 10DLC registration and HIPAA consent. AV production for quarterly earnings calls and executive offsites. Field connectivity prototyping — Starlink, 5G failover, multi-WAN — for remote clinicians. Startup pace inside a regulated, publicly traded environment.
Lola Vision Systems
Stood up IT infrastructure from scratch for a scaling hardware team — device standards and MDM enrollment, secured onboarding, identity and cloud access hardening, and the groundwork for CMMC and ITAR compliance readiness.
EARMILK
Co-founder and technical operations since 2009. Self-hosted production infrastructure serving millions of annual visitors, plus the editorial and analytics systems behind it.
Working With
The Name
Harmony is a
structural idea.
Harmony is what happens when independent parts stay fully themselves and still work as one thing. It's a musical idea long before it's a technical one — but it describes a good system exactly as well as it describes a good chord.
The company takes its name from the house it started in, chosen by people who care about music, and about unity being something you build rather than something you assume.
Let's talk about it.
Short engagements, long ones, or a second opinion on something already in flight.
